Job Summary

About the Position: This position is located at the Electronic Proving Ground (EPG), Office of the Technical Director, Office of Technology Development Fort Huachuca, Arizona. (merit)

Job Responsibilities

• Make decisions on work problems presented by individuals such as subordinate supervisors, team leaders, or similar personnel, or by contractors.
• Ensure utilization of personnel skills/abilities in performing work duties when distributing workload.
• Meet with officials to discuss areas such as achievements, problems, goals and objectives to establish good communications and flow of information.
• Direct modifications to a program, which may include stoppage or acceleration.
• Recommend policy decisions in a program/problem area.
• Evaluate trends to prepare for expansion of mission responsibilities.
• Communicate with individuals such as test lead/ director or Advanced Technology Office lead to promote development on a project.
• Determine manpower/facility equipment needed to support programs.
• Assess resource allocations to ensure test missions are executed efficiently.
• Advise on operational matters which significantly affect a project.
• Augment in-house resources using areas such as contracts or other communication.
• Initiate plans to meet mission requirements.
• Provide guidance to key staff members on areas such as planning and priorities in testing.
• Recommend steps to take to ensure adherence to budgetary requirements for a program.
• Recommend steps to take to ensure adherence to time schedules for a program.
